Christians First?

As a white American Christian guy, son of a Jew and son of an immigrant, I find the notion of fast-tracking Christians out of the Middle East ahead of any other oppressed or persecuted persons to be repugnant. I could endorse a foreign policy that seeks peace and stability in the region so that the most ancient Christian communities can stay intact, right where they are, alongside their almost-as-ancient Muslim neighbors, and their much-more ancient Jewish neighbors.

May God grant our presidency a depth, wisdom and understanding that it so far shows little evidence of possessing.

That’s what I think. At least, that’s what I thought before I started looking for images with which to illustrate this post. Now I’m just upset.
